About
The Psychologist
A thoughtful space for meaningful change.
At The Psychologist, we understand that people don’t just want tips, they want change that lasts. Our approach is grounded in sound psychological science and decades of clinical experience, yet it’s never cold or clinical. We work with what truly matters to you, moment by moment, person to person.
Our practice is anchored by three guiding values:
Awareness
Real change begins with awareness, of what you feel, what you avoid, and how you relate to yourself and others. Together, we pay attention to these patterns with curiosity and compassion, not judgment.
Courage
It takes courage to show up, to stay present, and to do things differently. We create a safe, respectful space for you to take small, meaningful steps toward what you care about, even when it feels hard.
Love
Growth happens in relationships that are honest, respectful, and kind. We offer a steady presence, attuned support, and genuine care, because change is more than a process; it's a connection.
We don’t offer one-size-fits-all solutions. Instead, we tailor evidence-based psychological approaches to meet your unique needs, whether you're working through anxiety, OCD, mood shifts, chronic pain, or life’s quieter struggles. We bring the science of psychology into everyday conversations, where insight becomes action and support becomes strength.

Adrian is a clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience, widely recognised for his expertise in the treatment of anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). He has supported individuals through a range of concerns including chronic pain, weight-related challenges, mood difficulties, personality vulnerabilities, and major life transitions.
Adrian’s approach is grounded in robust psychological science and shaped by deep clinical experience. At the same time, it remains relational at its core, emphasising emotional safety, clarity, and meaningful, practical change.
Before founding The Psychologist, Adrian worked across public hospitals, private clinics, and educational settings. He currently teaches psychology courses at universities, provides clinical supervision to mental health professionals and interns from postgraduate programmes, and contributes to research in areas such as emotional distress, ethics, and the psychology of chronic health conditions.
Adrian’s clinical work integrates a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT), and emotion-focused approaches—each thoughtfully tailored to the unique needs of his clients. Yet beyond techniques, Adrian believes that true healing happens in the therapeutic relationship itself—a space where awareness is nurtured, courage is honoured, and love is present.
Adrian is a registered psychologist and approved supervisor with the Singapore Psychological Society. He contributes actively to the advancement of psychology as both a science and a practice, locally, regionally, and internationally, serving in various capacities as a leader, advocate, collaborator, and educator. His contributions have been widely recognised, including recent appointments to national expert panels in Singapore, where he helped shape clinical guidelines such as the Singapore Guidelines for Mental Health and Well-Being Initiatives and the ACE Clinical Guidance (ACG) for Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD).
He is also a member of the Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society of Singapore (OMSSS), the Singapore Association for the Study of Obesity (SASO), and the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (IFSO), reflecting his continued commitment to the psychological care of individuals living with chronic health conditions. Also known in the field of weight and chronic health management, he has published scientific papers, presented at national and international conferences, and been invited to deliver training workshops and talks on psychological aspects of weight management.
His work reflects a simple goal: to make quality psychological support more accessible, more human, and more effective.
